Created by Musealia and Titanic historian and expert Claes-Göran Wetterholm, this experience separates fact from fiction like never before. An audio guide in multiple languages will serve as your narrator, bringing every historical account to life with music, sound effects and testimonies from Titanic passengers and crew. Unravel the true story of the ship as you embark on a trip through time bringing you closer to the myths, stories and the real history of the Titanic.

What can I expect from Titanic. The Human Story?

Explore the real story of the RMS Titanic through recreations and personal objects that will allow you to connect with the passengers and the crew in a narrative, emotional visit.

Where is the experience located?

The experience takes place at Walsh Bay Arts Precinct Pier 2/3 - 13A Hickson Road, Dawes Point, NSW 2000. The entrance can be found midway down Pier 2/3.

Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?

This experience is held indoors in an air-conditioned venue.

How long does the experience last?

The visit has an estimated duration of 80-90 minutes. Please note that for the final session of the day, the doors will close 15 minutes after the start time, and the venue will close 90 minutes after the session begins.

Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase?

There won't be food or beverage for purchase at this event. However, the Sydney Dance Cafe and Sydney Theatre Bar are nearby and within the Walsh Bay Arts Precinct.

Is there parking available?

There is paid parking available within Uptown. Access is via 66 Elizabeth Street, Brisbane and pre-bookings can be made via the Uptown website.

Will there be additional sessions?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee there will be extra dates. Please refer to the experience page for updated information on availability, as those are the confirmed dates and timings.

Will there be an audio guide?

Yes, the audio guide is available in English and is included in your ticket price. Visitors can download the guide to their smartphone. It is recommended to bring your own smartphone and headphones to enjoy this feature

Will there be guided tours?

No, but the experience includes an audio guide which explains the exhibition room by room.

I have a hearing impairment: how can I still enjoy the guide?

In this case you can request a transcript of the audio guide (available in English), which will allow you to experience Titanic. The Human Story to the fullest just like any other visitor. In this case, please ask the box office staff upon arrival.

Is there Virtual Reality?

This experience does not have virtual reality.

Is there a dress code?

There's no defined dress code for this experience; a casual look will be fine.

Will there be merchandise for sale?

Yes, there is a Titanic. The Human Story merchandise store within the experience.

Where can I get tickets?

Can I purchase tickets at the door?

We will have a box office on site. However, tickets may be sold out by the time you arrive at the event, so we highly recommend you book your tickets in advance in order to guarantee your spot. You can purchase tickets through the Fever App (available on Google Play and the Apple App Store) or on the Fever website.

Can I purchase tickets with cash?

This is a cashless event. You can purchase tickets through the Fever App (available on Google Play and the Apple App Store), on the Fever website or at the box office on arrival with a card.

Can I transfer my tickets to another person?

Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever App. Please contact us if you need additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No, your contactless tickets will be validated directly in the Fever App.

I can't find my ticket. What should I do?

You can view your ticket in the Fever app, within the Tickets section. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us.

Can I change the date of my ticket? Are refunds allowed?

Subject to availability, changes of date and/or time are permitted up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience. In such a case, please contact us indicating your ticket ID. You can also check if this option is available by consulting your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever App where, if enabled, the "Change date and/or time" button will appear. Follow the steps indicated in the link to change the date and/or time of the ticket. Refunds are not allowed, except as required under Australian Consumer Law. Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?

It is recommended that you arrive at the time stated on your ticket. If you happen to arrive late, your entry will be dependent on if there is space available. This may result in an undefined waiting period or no entry to the experience.

Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed?

Unfortunately, no pets are allowed in this event’s location, though we do welcome service animals.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes, Walsh Bay Pier 2/3 is an accessible venue. Please note, while wheelchairs are permitted, there are no wheelchairs for hire within Titanic; please, bring your own if required.

What are the prohibited items at the experience? Can I smoke or vape?

Weapons, smoking, vaping, drugs, and food & beverage are strictly prohibited.

Do you offer carer tickets?

Guests requiring assistance throughout this experience are entitled to apply for one free pass for their personal assistant/support worker. For this experience, simply show proof of needing a carer ticket at the entrance and the carer will be allowed in for free.

Is the experience accessible for deaf/visually impaired people?

Deaf people will be able to enjoy this experience as it is mostly visual; however, we do not recommend this event for visually impaired people.

Will there be strobe lights?

No, there will be no strobe lights.

Will restrooms be available on site?

Walsh Bay Arts Precinct Pier 2/3 has restrooms conveniently located right outside the venue. There is also an adult change room located on Wharf 4/5. Ask our staff for further directions if required.

Can I take photos or record the experience?

Feel free to take photos. When taking photos, please make sure not to disturb other customers. Professional equipment, selfie sticks and tripods are not permitted.

Is there a Lost & Found?

We would recommend asking the staff at the venue if they have found your belongings. If you can’t ask onsite, please contact us.

Is coat check available?

This venue has no coat check.

Is there an age requirement?

All ages are welcome to this experience and the space is accessible for prams/strollers. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children up to the age of 3 do not require a ticket.
